Travel Vaccinations

Travel Risk Assessment

As you will be aware, GP surgeries are working under increasing pressure and must prioritise the services they provide.

Our Travel Service includes access to the vaccines available on the NHS where advised by our nurses (Tetanus, Typhoid, Hep A)

We have limited appointment capacity and insist on 6 weeks notice to enable us to assess your risk and provide with appointments. We cannot provide last minute appointments.

We no longer offer private travel vaccinations (such as Rabies, Japanese Encephalatis, Yellow Fever or Malaria tablets) and we will suggest a private Travel Clinic for these, . They can offer a full range of vaccinations not available to us, as well as the ones we offer, with a greater selection of appointments and locations.

If you want to access our service -please speak to reception or contact us online from homepage. We will send you a pre-travel questionnaire, and organise a telephone appointment with a nurse to discuss vaccines required in around 1 week.

Which travel vaccines do I need?

You can find out which vaccinations are necessary or recommended for the areas you'll be visiting on these websites:

Some countries require proof of vaccination (for example, for polio or yellow fever vaccination), which must be documented on an International Certificate of Vaccination or Prophylaxis (ICVP) before you enter or when you leave a country.
