The surgery is open between 1.00 p.m. and 2.00 p.m. daily for collection of medication and to make appointments in person, although a skeleton staff operates, and incoming telephone calls are asked to call an emergency number.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Appointments

Surgeries usually run until mid-morning when the last person requesting an appointment is seen but please telephone as soon as possible after 8.30 a.m. in order to allow us to plan the rest of the days work.

 

Visits

If for any reason you cannot consult in the normal surgery time but could come up by special arrangement, please ask.  Visits take at least four times as long as consultations in the surgery and we cover large areas.  Obviously many housebound elderly and very ill people will need to be visited. Please request home visits by 10.30a.m. wherever possible,

 

Dispensing

The surgery dispenses medication to most of our patients. Medication prescribed by the Doctors during surgery appointments will be, wherever possible, available for collection at the same visit.

 

Repeat Prescriptions

If authorised by the Doctor repeat prescriptions can be requested by returning your repeat slip issued with medication, and placing in the box in reception, or posting through the letter box when the surgery is closed.  Please allow 2 working days for collection. Requests may also be posted or faxed to the surgery. The Fax Number is 01225 743694.
